A.Isa Araújo (b. Lisbon, Portugal) is an intermedia artist and teacher based in Caldas da Rainha, PT.
Creates in the hybrid encounters of performance art, digital performance, dance and eco-somatic practices, video, photography and installation, addressing issues of power, corporeality, identity and otherness, with a focus on the interdependent relationships between humans and other-non-humans in a context of climate urgency.
Has presented her work at various national and international festivals, such as Sea of Art International Film Festival in Norway (receiving the Best ECO Work award for Corpo Líquido e Plástico 0.0), Live Performers Meeting (Netherlands and Italy), SWIFF Festival (USA), Imajitari (Indonesia), OurFestival8 (Greece), EnAct Performance Festival (Belgium), among others. CAMPING Centre National de la Danse, Paris scholarship, awarded by Teatro Municipal do Porto, (2022).
